Andrasta wants winter skins for his prehistoric world, and I've started working on some. I'm starting with b536mafit for men, but I'd appreciate suggestions for non-waisted, or at least loosely fitting, meshes for women.

Oh I am so curious and excited of what you might come up with!

I send you a PM with some skins/meshes. Not being a skinner I have no idea if these are useful, but I try.

Loose nightgown meshes might be suitable, e.g. like Tig's ones (included in zip).

EDIT:
I have trouble to connect with Internet today...maybe Simarillion would be also a place to look for suitable meshes? I'll have a look onto my harddisk and send what I find. Simarillion files might be at CTO; can't have a look right now, it won't load for me. dry

I am looking for more meshes; coats could be something to look for.

Here attached the Native American female skin with mesh from Nona's Art Martha suggested over in CTO.

And the link to Jack Wolfsim's meshes hosted by Thalia at her site Magnolia Sims:

Probably you know it.

Maybe Simfreaks Kimono mesh of the Kimono pack? Pic attached.

No help on meshes, of course, but I thought I would pipe in with an extra suggestion - the grim reaper has accessory (props) rags. I currently forget where on the body they actually hang but perhaps attaching them (renamed and reskinned, of course) to your winter clothing might enable you to give a layered look that might bulk up a mesh that has a bit of a waist.

Props - the skinners' secrets laugh
All I did until now is changing normal into winter wear and such, I have no idea of how to work with meshes.

Bruja, you got mail by me with the meshes I've mentioned above.

I'll hunt up the rag prop(s), raeven. Moving them to another place on the body isn't that big a Milkshape job, I think. Thanks for a great idea!

got the pm with loose skins, andrasta biggrin

Too bad Christmas is approaching so fast, because I'm enjoying skinning again, and getting ready for Xmas is a huge job for me. I'm going to try to get a few skins done and posted before then, by bribing myself with an hour' skinning for every hour I spend reorganizing the house for the yearly influx of extended family.
