I have an object that I would like to add animation to. I have the animations already done.

There currently is NO animation to the base. I don't even know where to begin. I know this is all pretty cryptic, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. Can/Would someone please help? I'm drifting into uncharted waters...

You list the animations in the STR#129 (STR#130 for children)

To run the animation you insert lines (Function 44 instead of Fun ction 2) in the appropriate spots in the appropriate BHAVS.

The parameters used play the animations in different ways. I think Grapholina covers some of them in her SimsCollege tutorials so you can check the syllabus for animations stuff.

At it's simplest you'll put the animations id# (which line it is in the STR#129) into iffpencil's parameter 1 and "8192" to "return events " into a Local Variable . IffPencil's parameter 2 is where you change which L.V. that will be. Remember to increase the number of variables being used in the data header if necessary.

If you made the animations there wont be any events.
Maxis animations have events. (This includes the TSO ones peter has converted)

Th e false return on these new lines will be activated when an event occurs. You can make something else happen when an event occurs but afterward must loop back to your original line. If there are no events or you don't want anything to happen just make the fals return the same number as the line.

True will not happen until the animations is fully completely.

(If you need more specific or hands on help I can do that for you at my forum)
