I LOVE the seamless seats and pillars; that is such a fantastic idea!

Hmmm, your easel has me thinking--wouldn't it be nice to have a Sims easel where after you're done with the painting it then became an object you could hang on the wall? I'll bet that's possible, though probably outside my abilities right now.

You've got me wanting to make more Minoan stuff; I've kind of got hung up on Ancient Egyptian objects recently (for the update I always have in the works). But I've been saving reference pictures of Minoan furniture--there are some volcanic casts of some beds from Thera and a little, fairly elaborate table too that might convert to a one-tile lunch table.

I'm so glad I was part of the inspiration for your wonderful objects. :)

I have been thinking the same :) I believe I have a hacked easel somewhere which can do this...

Future update on Egyptioan objects? Yay!
As far as I know Egyptian culture might have influenced Minoan culture, hasn't it? Would be logical considering all (or most) Mediterranean cultures influenced each others. Great that you found the images.

I have been searching for furniture but not found much; am working on a bathtub but don't know yet if I'll ever finish it. I am trying to hold it in the same texture as your Minoan sink, but up to now it is not dry clay but moist one laugh

Oh ha! I've been working on a Minoan bathtub forever too. I've got one view (of two) done so far for the 'normal' state. Good god there's a lot of sprites in a tub!

The Minoans and the Egyptians definitely had a lot of contact, yeah. I believe the Minoans got the male/female color coding thing from the Egyptians, with women in paintings being light, and men being darker; eventually even Classical Greek art was influenced by Egypt (or at least that's what I was taught in art school); the whole contrapposto pose of Greek statues, with the weight on one leg, was an adaptation of the very stylized old Egyptian pose with one leg striding forward.

I've put up the pictures I found of Minoan furniture on a pinterest board if you want to go look; maybe I've found some pictures you don't have. I included some Cycladic marble statues though they are rather earlier; some of them have some interesting chairs, though they're quite stylized.

Glad you like the Puffins, André -hey, who would not like these funny looking birds in RL!

@Thalia
For the bathtub:
for now I have decided to use a version with much less sprites by Aponee, but of course it is also less fun watching the Sims take a bath - the tub is full of water in an instance. Maybe I swap graphics later and do a full version in case I ever get the clay to be dry.
Can't find Aponee's copper tub in the Y-groups -it is in the "Roughing it" set - but can send it to you. I also use a hack for no privacy by Gnohmon so if you want the combined base I made of both just tell me.

Yes, also on Greek vases females are light and males dark.

Thanks for the image link - I know most of the pics :)
