As a long time owner of the company, Patio CEO, I can attest to many tantrums


I was asked if I would be making any Downtown lots.

As a owner of a brand new comptuer downstairs that still is not working

I have thought I could make homes for the Downtown area and work them into the Townies version of fun


All is well and I am happy with what it is at the time. Now what to call it?

I know that will come in time, so I let it be. Yet the new world of Sims that is very old comes to haunt me

I have no curser, and it is not because I minimized the game. I have not yet, so I had to finally give in.

I minimized the game and saved the lots in the Houses folder. Then I used the Task Manager and shut the task down

I shall take my 'saved' lot and reinsert it into the game. Just in case the game did not save what I had done

Just for fun, I emailed the EA support to see what is wrong.

So if you are in the midst of new buildings and the game stops playing, don't dispair.
Just go into Houses and save that baby.
Put inside a new folder in the Houses called whatever you want.

Let me add very quickly

I just ran over and saw that the game had not done as it said it had, saved the building. Oh well, I still let my gal go over and see how the plan worked, without bathrooms or dishwashing facilities


Lots of room and it shall work fine, when I feel like going back and working on it

Let this be the lesson for all. Save your game each room you work in. So that it shall be saved for the stupid game code messing with the contractor

I don't care- I still will make and build homes and other structures
