I'd love to have the vendor carts from the EPs that were in the style of the goulash cart from MM.
I'd thought I'd seen one or two, but can't remember for sure. _________________ "The urge to destroy is also a creative urge." -Mikhail Bakunin

well...the thing about food carts is that they have an attached NPC with them that you'd probably want to change to make more "gothy," and I have to admit that the reason I don't often do recolors of things that have NPCs is b/c of all the "extra" work involved. I'm happy to do the graphics for the carts if someone else wants to handle creating the skins and "hacking" the carts appopriately...any takers? |

Well I can do the skins if you like. I love gothy stuff.
I have no idea about the hacking, though. You'll have to find another someone else for that. :) _________________

SSoW has some EZ-clone bases for a few vendors. For other vendors, you might be able to make a base by copying all resources from an object and its NPC(s) into a single IFF, and cloning that. (Or you could do it the hard way, by manually editing the GUID references in separate clones. ) _________________ ~ But it's got Spam in it! ~

Yes! I vant some too!
Getting my download finger limbered up . . .
(I *have* attached custom NPCs to objects before a few times, but it's been SO long, I've gone stupid again) |

yeah, well i can do all of it, I'm just being lazy. I've d/l the SSOW EZ clone cash register but never used it. I think I hit the point where even the "EZ" way seemed to tedious (again, lazy). well OK let's get the graphics and the skins done and then we'll deal with everything, right?
I even have time to work on this because I have one of those lovely "unpaid days off" this week. yip....eee.... but hey at least I can sim!
Thalia, your skins are always so awesome, I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Well thank you S, that's very kind of you! :)
So which one do we want to start with? I don't use them that much even though I've got all the EPs, so there's what? The hot dog vendor, ice cream, coffee and pastries, cheap eats/pizza, sushi, what else?
Do you just want recolors of the existing vendors, or do we want entirely new meshes, too? _________________

Thalia, I think you got them all... I'd would be happy with recolors, unless you just want to make new meshes. _________________ "The urge to destroy is also a creative urge." -Mikhail Bakunin

lol about the skins...
Ok well I need some help making a desicion. These will be simple recolors, I thought. I'll just crank them out real quick...
...I started with Hot Date's Cheap Eats Counter. But the food looked gross just sitting out like that (1). So I added glass to protect it (2), but that looked too modern--didn't go with the gypsy-like cart at all. So I added some cracks to the glass (3), but wasn't sure I liked that either....So then I tried to make the glass look older and kind of mottled...hmmmm still seems too modern!
Haha...help! Which one looks best? (and now I notice I need to add glass on the other side of the cart ) |

I'd vote for #1 - NO glass. The glass is way too modern looking. Doesn't quite go with the old rustic/weathered wood theme.
*GREAT* job you are doing!
"But the food looked gross just sitting out like that . . . "
Isn't that the whole idea???
Toss a coupla rats onto that shelf . . . LOL! |

Yeah I'd go with the first one, no glass, too.
So, what IS that stuff second tray from the left, anyway?
It looks really good! And good, I have a color scheme now. _________________

I agree, the glass looks too modern.
If you don't want to go without, though, you could replace the glass with boards. _________________ ~ But it's got Spam in it! ~

Holy crap, they're all awesome. But ^everyone's probably right - no glass.

What about a net/dome? Like people used/use for picnics? I'm guessing that would be really hard to make, since it would require new animations. But something similar?
