Can anyone tell me, please, if this possible to make a hack (probably a global hack), which will allow to put Sims on surfaces (tables, counters etc)? (it is possible in Sims 2 even without any hacks, just by using cheat codes, if I'm not mistaken).
Or maybe it is possible to create at least a special surface, which will be able to hold a standing Sim?

In the meantime I've tried the first way, by editing an "init person" BHAV of PersonGlobals - added all possible surface height Flags, such as "My allowed height flags Set Flag Constant 8193:?" ("?" from 1 to 9). Also added placement Flag for surfaces "My placement flags Set Flag on surface". But it still don't work...

Am I missing something, or at all made everything wrong? blush

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, that this can be done with real Sims.
Yes, I have a lot of invisible stackable surfaces in my game and use them all extensively. But for my two ongoing projects at once, would be great to have such a feature. I'm trying to adopt pose boxes and OMSPs from Sims 2 in Sims 1 game: the first one is almost finished and another one is available as beta-test version. So possibility of placing a Sim on surface will make a great combo of them both for storytellers.

I would assume the main problem is the height at which Sims sit. So, it may not be possible to make them sit on higher surfaces but Raeven did create a coffee table that can be used both as a surface and as a seat for a real Sim.

Kate of Parsimonious did a 1-tile version.

There is this (very adult) table from M and M needful things where a sim can sit on.
Seems to be question of animation.

Sorry, guys, but it seems that I didn't explained well, what exactly I need...
I need to be able in "BUY" mode, with "move_objects" cheat turned on, place STANDING Sim onto surface.

Oh. Well, in that case maybe have a look at the coding in the MM or SS stages that allow Sims to stand on them. Maybe it'll help you figure it out.
