Florida Southern University (the chapel):





The common buildings (everything but the dorms) were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright; and built by engineering, design, and architecture students. Read more here.

Some older pics, from college photo essays (b&w - Falling Cascade (Blue Ridge Parkway); colour - National Bison Range and St. Ignatius Cemetary, both in Montana):



This one is my fav - I didn't even notice the clouds were a perfect reflection of the path.

Gorgeous photos! The stained glass window in the very first post is probably my favorite. I love stained glass, and that photo captures the bold colors beautifully against the background.

Thank you! It's from the big Catholic church downtown. My dad told me about a time he was photographing the outside of the church, when the priest came out and asked if he would like to come inside and shoot.

We were out there, and it was super, super windy (like knock you off your feet), and the wind was frigid. One of the deacons (what is the term for them that Catholic peoples use?) was going inside, and said we could come in and shoot for a few minutes. It was gorgeous in there.

History does indeed repeat itself.
