I posted a message earlier but now I can't find it. Anyway, I've been recoloring using GIMP with the best tutorial I've come across. But sometimes after recoloring, the objects show up black in TMOG no matter what color I use. Can anyone tell me why this is?

Did you change the sprites at all?

Are you recoloring or changing the shape?

Are only things with cutouts (doors and windows) turning black? (Your other post says you were messing with a door.)

Thanks for responding. I was recoloring objects (windows and doors) so I open GIMP, open the file, save it as .xcf, convert it to RGB, copy the item, create a new layer, paste the item, anchor it, (duplicate layer if necessary), remove color (forget the actuall name), color it, flatten image, convert to index and save as .bmp (replacing the original .bmp). But some of the .bmps are empty or show nothing. Wait, some of the ones I've done (even with blanks) came out colored just fun. But like the bathroom door keeps coming out black.

That's happened to me before, too. My problem was that there wasn't enough varitey in the coloring. If I had just a single color, the size of the Bitmap was only 26 and (in my case) GIMP liked the size to be 52.
Also, you said you changed it to RBG,but did you change it back to Index when you where finished? If I didn't do that,it messed things up for me too.
