Hmm, it didn't look right to me either when I pulled it back out of the Recycle Bin. *shrug*

I wonder, did Sims101 figure out what to do for this?

I don't think it's a coordinates issue, though. I mean, I'm not re-mapping the screen, so to speak. Just recolouring (well, re-landscaping).

Yeesh. thumbsdown This is what I get for trying to have autumn in my game.

Have you replaced the image in the proper .far file? That's probably what your problem is.

You don't need to insert it into a far file...

I am wondering what the trouble could be because I've never had trouble with it...

Maybe new programs are adding meta information to the files (in what should be "unused" areas) and the game doesn't like it?

I've never had issues with any screen that I've downloaded. I even tried a couple when I was having issues with the screen I was making.

I think the game just didn't like my screen.

Apparently, after much help from Michael (known as Minerva to some), my issue is solved:

Quote:
...The main screen has to be 24-bit uncompressed (of all things) and the wave files 8-bit compressed. ...

Now it works!

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but since there IS a solution, I thought I'd update the thread for future visitors.
