I just had a fit of nostalgia. I play the Sims 3 extensively, but I had an urge to fire up the original game I fell in love with 10 years ago. I left it behind when I installed Sims 2, but kept everything "just in case." I had to look up how to install all my saved custom content.
I still love Sims 3, but I don't have any urge to restart Sims 2. I think that the development was more natural from Sims 1 to Sims 3. |

| I like both Sims 1 and 3. I finally gave up on Sims 2 and don't miss it. Sims Medieval palled quickly for me too. |

The Sims - Biggest selling PC game of all time.
Free Objects, Skins, Houses from all around the world.
It is easy to believe that Sims players are some of the best people.
...because the smartest folks got computers and the kindest, most original ones bought Sims.

| I still love Sims 1 best myself. I liked the "advancements" with Sims 2 but it never pulled me in the way Sims 1 did and for some reason it never looked as good as Sims 1 even with the improvements. I still wish they had made some much wanted improvements with Sims 1, such as the ability to have more than 2 floors. I have the Sims 3 but need a much improved PC before I can load and play. So I am still content with Sims 1. |

Welcome! I love Sims 1 and Sims 3, too. Sims 2 just never appealed to me. _________________

I'm back! The old laptop died, now I have a shiny new one. Installed all the EPs and a no cd crack and I'm good to go. My shiny new Windows 7 laptop is working beautifully. I also found some old back up discs I made in 2005! Getting everything reinstalled now. It's so much fun to play the old game.
I love sims 3, but I just don't have time to play that anymore. It's nice to have a game that is complete, no new patches, no surprises. The music and sounds are so much nicer too. |

And when you get tired of the music, you can edit it to please yourself. Welcome home! _________________ "Do not anger a bard, for your name is silly and it scans to 'Greensleeves'." (I loved it so much I had to steal it) |
