I posted this at CTO but forgot to post it here.
If you know anyone with a cat diagnosed with IBD or food allergies or who has a cat with really smelly gas, please link them to this article I wrote about my experiences with tritrichomonas foetus, a cat parasite that most vets don't know about. My cat was nearly misdiagnosed last year and would have been doomed to a life of expensive special diets because of that. I want to get the word out!
(My cat's picture is featured in the article!)

Great article. I will remember that if I notice this in my cat.

She is an indoor/outdoor cat. Behaves so much better when she gets to go out and play, play, play.

Inside only, all she wanted was to play. The 15 full hard minutes twice a day they recommend just wasn't enough for her.

Since she does spend time outside, I will watch for signs of this. Thanks.

What was surprising about this parasite is that a good many indoor only cats and purebreds have it. Because so many cats have it without showing symptoms few are treated and it runs rampant.
