One of my favorite autumn memories as a kid was going to a pick-your-own berry farm with my church. We would go through the berry fields, then get a hayride out to the campfire, where we'd eat, sing, and drink cider as long as the fire lasted. With that memory in mind, Oriens Imports has decided to bring you along for a first glimpse into our own pick-your-own place: Winesap Grove Orchard and Berry Farm.

This small set is full of goodies. Inside, you can buy apples from the barrel, or set your sights on one of our four delicious preserves:

Or, if you're an outdoorsy sort, you can go out and pick apples yourself. At home, the apple tree will flower and bear fruit regularly. At the farm, there's always something to be picked, for a nominal fee.

Finally, we have a few architectural elements for you: Walls, floor and a door, all made (like all the rest of our furniture) out of high-quality applewood.

We hope you like it, because there's going to be a lot more where this came from.

Note: Follow installation instructions. Apple tree and barrel require props from The Secret Society of Woobsha (woobsha.com); instructions to be found in info text file.

Notes:

- Yes, the trees are actually pickable, and they do go from leafy to flowering to fruiting, just like crops.
- There are two different trees, which yield two different types of apples. Both are buyable in the apple bin.
- Trees are always in the fruiting stage on away lots, but picking your own costs a nominal fee (10 simoleans). This is slightly more expensive than buying apples from the store, but it is fun for sims with a high enough outdoors interest.
-This set, as mentioned above, is just the start of a much larger one. Among other things, we can promise something to do with all those apples, as well as ways for your sims to make all those neat preserves (yes, that does mean more crops, too). We've also got lots of other things you'll be able to buy in the store, as well.

Edit: There are some problems with the trees. It's a little late to repair it all tonight, so I've uploaded the zip file without them. I'll get it fixed and upload the trees tomorrow.
