Maybe this has been around for a while, but I was just notified about it. There's a hacked calendar you can hang on a wall, and your sims will observe a 5 day work week with weekends off. Two days every week without a carpool or school bus. I just downloaded it, but not tried it yet. I hope it's not a bust.

It seems to me I used that. Can't remember how well it worked as so many of my sims don't work at all.

I just made it like, yesterday or the day before.

I am the 'Damon' from simlogical. laugh

If it doesn't work for you let me know, because it worked for me and some other people who tried it.

No problem, and I'm glad it's working! Testing that many days in a row can be a lot of work. laugh

Looks like I'll have to try this object out sometime soon myself.

You'd of thought Maxis could of added in weekends in the Sims 1 themselves.

Well there's been an unexpected benefit using the calendar. With a couple days off out of every seven my Simmies get to spend more time recreating together. All their friendship scores are going up. Who woulda thunk it? rolleyes smile

If Maxis did it, they could have put it right in the car portal and done it right!

I mostly did it because I was wondering when my sims were meant to spend time with their family or skill between work. I think in all my years of playing I just never had them work and rosebudded up their wallets.

Tested!
It worked great!
Tested with Burb family when in the weekend the bus and the car does not come.
Past two days, the car and bus to come back, without harming the Johny school note or work of Tifanny.
Thank Damon, is an amazing object!

Do you want to know how I made the object or how you make it work?

You just buy it and it works.

It basically tells the object that schedules the car and schoolbus that it already came and the sim has already gone to work.

The more I watch the new behavior of my sims I'm finding out that I'm being emotionally affected by the calendar. I'm getting hump day, TGIF, and Monday morning blues kinds of feeling,,, LMAO! This is so cool. Thank you many times. thumbsup
