I haven't really played Sims 1 for ages. :( I dabble sometimes, but it never last long, as the game doesn't really work well on my 24" iMac screen.

I'm currently playing Sims 3 and having fun trying to do 'everything' in the game before Sims 4 is out. (I don't think I'll be getting Sims 4, but it's a good goal date... LOL!)

My Sim married a mermaid (merman?) and one of their kids inherited his father's genes... He's a teen now.

Isn't it beautiful down there? Except for the sharks, that is... LOL!!

Gorgeous!

I just bought all the expansions I was missing. I can't play on this laptop though so I'll have to wait.

How cool! I haven't had a sim go diving for a while. How do mersims react with sharks? Do they have better outcomes?

Dpn't know if I'll bother with Sims 4. Looks too "cartoony" to me and If it doesn't have the colourwheel tool where you can change the colour of furniture and wallpaper and hair and clothes I'm really not interested. Besides, I barely have time to play sims 3 and I never have time for Sims 1 which I still love.

Mersims can't get attacked by sharks. I read somewhere that evil mersims can actually 'summon' a shark to attack a diver, but I haven't tried that myself.
One of my Sims got attacked six or seven times, but she won twice and got a shark's tooth out of the fight - sold for around 2,000. laugh

If they insist on having Sims 4 without the colour wheel tool I'm not going to get it. I love playing around with patterns and colours, and not having two Sims in my town wear the same clothes...
Also, I love being able to just drag the colours to the curtains and rugs and have everything match instead of needing to have six colourways for every rug set that is out there...
I remember how hard it was to make exact copies of Sims 1 houses for CTNutmegger's world years ago - I kept wanting to match the bookcases to the end tables and that sort of thing.

The only thing I really miss from Sims 1 is my gardens. I hate the way Sims 3 plants look.

Don't do it! Don't go into the cave!

Actually, nothing happened in the cave so all was well.
