In my country there is a religion similar to voodoo, the name is Umbanda, is a blend of African traditions, with spiritualism, Catholicism and religions of Brazilian native Indians. It is a very rich religion, with beautiful aesthetics and philosophy.

Thanks Zosa! By the way, the veve signs are not for making barriers against spirits, but in the contrary should invite them to come laugh

André, indeed, during my researches I found related religions like Candomblé, Santeria, Macumba, Batuque, and enjoyed the richness of these traditions, and the pictures smile

It was not easy to find reliable sources for finding the specific appearance of the loas. One source was really cool, it was an interview of three houngans from different countries (I think it was USA, Haiti and a South American country) discussing about the differences between Papa Legba and Exu/Esu.

Oh, found the link:

http://santeriachurch.org/whats-the-difference-between-legba-eleggua-eshu-and-exu/

Then I found also more parallels all over the world, of seemingly very different traditions, but that would lead to far now. Anyway, this is not strange at all, because most traditions base on being human, with all the common psychologic aspects and challenges of life, and strategies to master them.

Drums!

A sound object that plays original Haitian Vodou rhythms - needs lot of space, though.

I made it because I created drums and did not know how to put sound into the drums laugh
Thanks to Expression and her custom sound tutorial at least I was able to put sound into a TV smile

http://www.awesomeexpression.com/

The drums, too, will be available on my site soon.

Here the playable drums, for adults and children (2 are SOL objects and give good school grades to the kids). All my objects marked with SOL (School Of Life) are hacked for increasing the grades.

http://www.doortomore.net/andrasta_dusk2.html

I really enjoy watching my simmies drumming laugh
The drums have different animations. Someone who is able to deal with custom animations sure could have done it better, but I never found working drum objects (oh wait, safe a Taiko by a Japanese creator and the Maya drums by Kaligula!) and had to do myself what I was able to smile

The drums as well as the veve ceremony jukebox clone are inspired by reality, see pics below.

Andrea!! Again you did amazing objects !!
I love your objects and I really have them in my game.

The drum is really cool!
Candles find quite interesting , I want to see how they work on my game.
An object that you did for the CTO, a while back, the Beltane firecamp, I will also install on my game.

Thank you!!

I tested the drums in my game and read the tutorial. It would be so cool if you could put custom sounds in the easel cloned drum... whistle

Puzzleheart, you are most welcome

Ach André, if I was able to do it, I would not have had to work around using a sound object laugh

Now, the location.
A graveyard build kit with many combination possibilities.
And in case you are on a cemetery and looking for shelter, just sleep in the crypt, also on residential lots:

Puzzleheart hug

Update:
I added a file with corrected objects on my site:

Thanks to Raeven at http://www.woobsha.com who found an error in one of my objects, and thanks to her debug mode tutorial,
I was able to identify and correct bugs in these objects:

andra_legba_vevedrawing.iff
andra_vodoudrum_kids1.iff
andra_vodoudrum1.iff
andra_vodoudrum2.iff

The zips of the sets concerned now contain the corrected objects, but you only need to download the file with the above mentioned four objects if you had already domloaded the sets concerned.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
