I love the houses. Now that I have Phil's story done, maybe I'll try this one as well...

MTAman, I'm sorry there aren't more pictures of your house. It looks very fascinating. And I loved the contributions of Evalyne and Marieke as well.

I don't know whether I'll ever dare show mine, you guys are a hard act to follow. Still, i'm off to see whether the house can still be downloaded... :)

Well, here's mine. I started out with a 'plan', but I forgot about the family that already lived on the lot (I dumped the house on top of them... LOL!) They took over the house, and in the end it just grew into a sort of a jumble sale kind of interior. :)

Nice job, Karin. The Heirloom items really fit in as part of the decor. thumbsup

Thank you, mtaman!

The only item I have trouble with is the zebra sofa, it looks OK in the room it's in, but that room looks out-of-sync with the rest of the house. I would have put it in the living room with the tiger rug and all the horns and stuff, but it doesn't look dingy enough for that. :) I think I want to re-do that black/white study and make it more of a 'memorial for the late Mr Knight' -it's the only explanation for the fact that the room is so tidy. LOL!!! (I wonder what Mr Knight died of - tetanus, probably, or food poisoning... or maybe he tripped over a cat, or a book... LOL!!!)

I had Cordelia and Maximus on that lot already and forgot to move them before I copied the house to the lot...

Cool house!! I liked the decor and how you managed to fit in the heirloom items into the decor. I really like how everyone's house looks so different.

Here is my feeble attempt... I haven't many downloads in my newly-reinstalled game yet. But I enjoyed it a great deal. Pictures are on Photobucket, which I haven't used before.

It was the Pleasant family again - Jeff and Jennifer, after Diane and Daniel burned to death in a kitchen fire. Chris Roomies has moved in to help look after Jennifer, but she can't stand Jeff so he's busy making love potions with the chemistry set to try to convince her.
I think Diane was the one with taste in this family so Jeff has decorated with Miss Mokie's recliner matching set. Functional and comfortable. But he has a couple of pieces of artwork.

OT: Could you let me know if you cannot see the album? I am not sure I got it right and if not I will put the pics on SimEchoes (Echoes was down for a few days- moving house and internet access issues).

Nice, Sita! (Love the satellite dish on the roof. Now that is realism!)
It's good to know you've got Sims 1 installed again. I thought we lost you to the dark side! laugh
