Hiya, everyone! biggrin Sorry it took me a little while to return. Life got hectic!

I really love all of these wonderful creations! yes Wow! There's so much talent here, it's a little intimidating sometimes. Especially for someone like me, who doesn't have much time to hone the 'ol T-mog skills.

But here's my contribution to the challenge! It's called The Happiness Garden Set. Just simple re-colors, actually. blush But I hope you all like them! I added a rose bush I did a long time ago (but have never shared), called Tangerine Tango Rose. It picks up some of the colors in the texture. smile

Thanks so much for this great challenge! It was tons of fun (and I love the goodies!)

hug

Thank you, everyone! hug I'm glad that you like it!

To get the fresh white color, I took the p sprite and used the Colorize Tool set to 0/0 for Hue and Saturation. That gives a grayish tone to the object. Then I go to the Adjust> Brightness/Contrast and play with the numbers until I get the desired effect... bright white, without losing the object's definition. I use PSP7 for everything, but I'm pretty sure that most other programs would have something similar. smile

Thanks again for the nice comments! I hope your Simmies like it too! Um...who am I kidding? Most Sims are ungrateful, and don't like much of anything, do they? laugh

I feel like I'm getting into this challenge a little late!! I like this challenge because it appeals to all different levels of artists and it gives us the opportunity to use an image or theme that we might not have tried other wise. Here is mine:

Ess that is gorgeous, the pale blue sofas with the cushions works so well with the curtains & rug. And I see an end table as well!

great job!! thumbsup I'm glad you liked the texture. I did learn though that it was a difficult one for skinners because it was hard to get shading to work on that pale yellow background. This info is useful to know and will help us choose better textures for object making and skinning for future challenges.

I finally decided that I should participate, too. I just couldn't decide what to do. rolleyes Credits to PollyMogs (bookcase, couch, armchair, curtain) and John Adaone (dining chair).
