I am using PSP8 and loving it except mine is in french I don't have problem inside the program went it come to using a tutural but I do with the program basic folder. Some of them are easy to translate but other like the different kind of preset, confuse me a lot. Some time I put something in a folder that sound like the right one but the thing never show up in choice. Is there somewhere I could find an equivalent between english PSP and french PSP basic folder?

I use PSP8 myself, and there have been times when the instructions drove me mad.

Several times I've found answers at websites devoted to helping with PSP, and some of those sites, like http://www.campratty.com/ gave me some good ideas.

I tried a google search for 'paint shop pro' AND (tutorial OR forum), with language preference set to webpages in the french language only and turned up thousands of possible links.

I can read French for a lot of practical purposes, but certainly don't have the Paint Shop Pro techie vocabulary to know which ones might be the ones that could help you.

Here's one site that you might find useful for French language tutorials for PSP, Photoshop, and Gimp. http://www.jecomprendspas.com/tutorial/graphisme-2d/paint-shop-pro/

Well, I'm using PSP 7 myself and if you native English speaking persons have trouble understanding those horrible instruction at some points, than I at least know I'm not completely crazy... jfade's psycho

The best thing is to actually try and fail, try and fail, and so on, until things are put in place. But I admit, it can be a painful experience at times and so I'm VERY happy I don' have a cat in my household. Well, not that I'm a violent person or anything, cause I'm not. I'm the kindest and nicest person around, but for some odd reasons instructions, regardless of the purpose, can drive me insane...

I understood about one word in every three, there (which isn't so bad, I suppose, since I never studied French!). But I did recognize the reference to PSP 9, and felt compelled to mention that after 8, PSP was bought by Corel, and they changed a lot of the menu structure and removed a number of tools. So don't expect things in a JASC version of PSP to be the same or work the same as those in a Corel version. Just a friendly warning.

Oh, here's Babelfish's French version (bet there are some weird errors in it):
