The Simblesse Oblige Pumpkin Carving Kit - 2007

This spectacular Pumpkin Carving Kit allows your Do-It-Yourselfer Sims with a way to create holiday decor for their homes while raising their creativity!

The carved pumpkins can be displayed in your Sims' own home or sold off for a bit of extra cash (As with paintings pumpkins carved by more creative sims will sell for more money). The kit can be used on a surface or on the floor, by children or by adults. Note: If the sim cannot find a spot on the floor to place the finished pumpkin it will be sell the pumpkin automatically. No Expansion pack required

These pumpkins, all entries in the Simblesse Oblige Pumpkin Carving Party Challenge, were created by
Mtaman, 17Mars, Poetica, Ceci, Ruth, Ess, MamaSoul, Nickie, Karin, and Raeven thumbsup clap

EDIT: OOPS! Buymode said "+Mechanics". That's been fixed now

I'm a dork!! It originally said in buymode that it adds mechanics skill. That's my goof up. It really does add creativity blush

This is now fixed!

Those are Madoria's work.
Though you know, right now I can't remember offhand if they are from her site or a set she posted at another site! headscratch

blush I know isn't it hard to remember where I put everything ... laugh

Those counters are for the Rustic Apartment Hacked Kitchen
so you can find those in The Apartment section of Downloads
at my Main site, in Apt / apt Kitchens.

But I really like the Carving set from Simblesse !!!!!!!

whistle Let me just get my greedy little hands on it...

notworthy

Thank you both for the information about the gorgeous counters. I was just in my game and was putting in the spiffy new Spooky Kitchen and thought that those counters looked similar, so I thought they might be Madoria's. Gorgeous!

But, alas, I don't have Ing's apartment thingie in my game since I only decorate so I don't know if I could use them. Ah well, worse things have happened. I can still admire them from afar. They are very lovely :)

I look forward to seeing what festivities you guys will come up with for us for the Yule season! yes

Bev, If you want them for your own game you can graphics swap with iff Pencil2 to a non hacked counter if you want... ( but not share that counter of course...)

The Rustic apt stove is the same as the Spooky stove and the Rustic overcabinets and firelarm isn't hacked...
Preptable and Hutch is Woobshas and non apt hacked but Hacked otherwise...
So it is just the 2 counters that you will need to graphics swap...

Oh - yes - working together ( says me who didn't) is always much more fun ...

The bug that made the apartment hack (and a few other hacks) crash people's game was fixed in Makin Magic so you should have no problem with it.

For others who stopped at superstar, though....

Another way for non-Apt Hackers to use Apt Hacked goodies (without the hack installed) is to replace the functioning BHAV 5000 with one that has no real coding in it.

I've been putting such "placeholder" BHAVs into a lot of objects (including the Pumpkin Carving Kit). This allows me to do most of the apartment hacking while keeping the object safe for non-apartment hackers to use. Anyone who does want to apartment hack them just needs to import the simlogical patch (overwriting my placeholder BHAV) and POOF it's apartment hacked :) I've been calling it "Apartment Ready" (the way TVs used to be labeled "Cable Ready".)

It's super easy even if you have zero interest in hacking anything.
It does require having IffPencil installed though :)

1) OPEN: Open the counter in iffpencil.
2) DELETE: Highlight BHAV 5000, right-click and Delete it.
3) ADD: Right-click and Empty space and Pick Add.
Choose BHAV from the drop down menu and number it 5000 (very important). You can name it anything you want (I always name it "Am I Allowed? Placeholder")
4) 0EQUALS?0: Open this new replacement BHAV and add a single line. Fill the data box in like the picture shows (including making the True return "True"!!)
5) Save the object. That's it! All done. it'll work just like a regular object now.

Woo-hoo!! Thanks so much for the nifty pumpkin carving kit! I love the fact that our entries are in there. Every time I use it, I'll have very fond memories of this forum, and all of the contributers. grouphug
