|
|
Our first clutterbox is devoted to images suitable for dressing up/filling the Spooky Bookcase base in the Spooky Bookcase challenge, though of course you can use them for lots of other spooky purposes!
Some people have already been making images or extracting them from the game, so there should be a lot of images added to this thread over the next few days.
Follow the rules posted here http://simblesseoblige.com/viewtopic.php?t=317, and have a wonderfully spooky time! :smileyceleb |

Some of my images may need a little tweaking - the gargoyles, for instance are too big to be placed on a bookshelf, but are easily resized. I decided against doing that myself before uploading, just because leaving them full size would make them more flexible as free-standing statuary, etc.
These are all from inside the game.
EDIT -- Well this is interesting. These were supposed to upload on a transparent background (and did in a test thread) but they're on white now. If I can track down what caused that, I'll reupload them. Until then, they're here as they are. |

| It was fun finding little images in the Maxis stuff. There's so much there once you start looking... |

Nana - yup! You just right-click on the image and save it. There wasn't really any sense in posting a zipped version for download and then the very same image along with it to show what's inside. :P
And here's a couple more that may need resized before use. (Not Maxis) |

This one is not really suitable for the bookcase challenge, of course, but can be used for other "spooky" items. I actually put this together this for a magical/mystical theme but the lines between the two are so often blurred :)

Okay, here's a few more, gleaned from various Maxis objects... I particularly like the dragon. : |

 Wow, thats fantastic graphiks. Thank you all.
Inspired from your work I will share a little bit from my "exported stuff" with you. Not all are from The Sims. Parts are from the game Might and magic 6+7.
greets

Thought I'd also share the paper scroll I used in my bookcase. My tries at parchment just did not work out at that scale LOL
Included in this collection's a few more jars. Bat wings, Lizard tail (packed in glowing goop for a longer shelf life) , green glowing goop and tie dye glowing goop (you have to supply the glow yerself! I'm sparing you the fuschia glowing goop LOL
I also snagged several flying bats (which is where the bat wings came from!) |

The Maxis jack-o-lantern. How could I forget him. If I remember right, he's huge in the game. Must have been fed plenty of tonic, growing up. :P
And you're right about Severus. I imagine he has some mighty interesting recipes up his sleeve.
EDIT - Re-uploading the exact same image - Raeven generously re-saved it in a smaller file size. Always a good thing!

First attempt at clutter-boxes. I edited some of the original maxis objects into some more interesting colors. I couldn't get the background for the whole thing to be transparent, sorry.
