Hi there,

here are some bits and pieces of clutter suitable for making Christmas decorations. Some of the bits are just textures to be cut up. Other bits will need to be resized as appropriate.

Some of the spooky clutter could also be turned into tree ornaments if resized, recoloured etc. Other ideas are small candles, fruit such as apples recoloured, etc.

It is a way of saving an image file, like jpg or gif.

My contribution--a single candy cane, or a pixel-cane, as my husband calls it.
EDIT: once again, I am having trouble with the png optimizer and my little pixel-cane has a Maxis-yellow background when I look at it in PSP. If I can figure out (again) how to do it, I'll fix it. sad

Kim - all images in the clutterboxes that I open up in PSP7 is in fact not having the transperacy and layers intact for me.
I have to cut and paste to get a certain image I want.

If all the clutter boxes images was psp the tansperacy and layers would be intact.

Like your little cane- it is sweet.

Susanne

I find that when I open a png image in PSP8, the background always shows a color. The transparency works for the web, but not in PSP8 itself, so that I have to cut out the image as you do.

We asked for png images for the clutterboxes because they are so much smaller than the native images of graphics programs with layers and transparency intact.

Kim, in your png optimizer, look at the transparency tab and make sure it is set to 'preserve original transparency',
