Do you have Unleashed, or no? It will make a difference.

Make a folder called Community. Put the neighbourhood screen bmp and the 6 waves bmps into the folder, then move it into the UIGraphics folder in your game. That should get it to work.

They are bmps of the waves in different positions so it looks like they are moving.

There are no waves files for the Pirate screen by Aunt B. Since you mention that in your first post, I thought I'd mention it, in case that is the screen you were trying to install.
I think not putting them in will make the game default to the orginal waves.

I haven't tried that yet, I think I will try it right now, since the Tiki/Pirate hood is what have running at the moment - and I do have that screen installed.

Edit:

Yes, leaving them out does mess up the screen. So the best thing you can do is install waves from another neighborhood screen that doesn't actually have water. They will be solid pink. :)

AuntB has a "no water" screen and a "desert" screen, so the waves from that will probably both work for you.

The pirate screen from aunt b does work however without the wave files the original maxis graphics show up and distort the pirate screens image, does anyone have the original wave files I could use I don't know where to find them? Any help (given or yet to come) is much appreciated.

Yes, they do show underneath, but they don't 'match' the pirate water very well... There's the empty blue waveless part where the original Maxis map has bridges, and where the pirate map river is wider... that sort of thing...
At least that's what happened to mine.

The only place to get this map is Woobsha, and it doesn't include waves, so I think Aunt B just didn't make any??

Aunt B has the water (wave?) replacement files at one of her groups but I don't know which one, I'm afraid.

? I've just looked at AuntB's geocities site, plus her 5 yahoo groups and can't find any neighbourhood screens at all. What have I missed?

She has a site that's dedicated to neighborhood screens, I believe, but I have no idea how one finds it (there does not seem to be any central index to help find her scattered works anywhere)

Here is the unleashed screen I made, using the (desert) bmp waves from Aunt B. All you do is put the Community folder in the UIGraphics folder that is in your sims game folder, its just the regulare old unleashed screen but no roads, and no bridges, (unfortunately no water graphics (yet) but it works for Medieval neighborhoods, and farming neighborhoods.
