Happy Anniversary to everyone at Simblesse Oblige! This is just a small token of my appreciation for all that you do for the community. It's a fully functional bed (even including the messy state) using Ruthml's fabulous 2 rotation base. The texture of the bedding, though hardly visible, is a medieval Huck Weave that I found on the internet.

While I was searching for a simple medieval style bed, I found this design, with an interesting bit of trivia too. The bedtime phrase "Sleep Tight" comes from medieval times, when bed mattresses were sometimes held in place with ropes threaded through the bed frame. "Sleep Tight" was a reminder to tighten the ropes before going to sleep. I thought that was cool, especially since it's a phrase that has been part of my bedtime routine since I was a little girl. smile

I hope you enjoy, and please feel free to share this file, or recolor to your own liking.

How Awesome!!!

that's a wonderful bed and I love the "sleep tight" bit too - isn't it funny how these little sayings have survived for centuries even though the original meaning is long gone?

I recently visited a simulated pioneer village near my home and saw one of these beds in person. That looks very authentic! Great job, thank you!
