at least the cobbler machines look "punky" also... Im just throwing this stuff out there.. you dont have to catch them...lolll i have been collecting pictures of shoppes appropriated for victorian, early 20th century for a while so when someone says... who or what..i have the pictures already..

oh wow, that is so cool!!! did she tell you about it...

the picture of the women is the actual switchboard used in Lewiston, Maine in 1893.. i didnt even know they had switchboards...lol

Grandma worked for a large Electric Supllies Co. running the Swithchboard. It was 1925 and that job saw her and three daughters through the Depression. She later moved with that Company to California, where I remember playing with the older boards while she ran the "New" one. The New One was a cool Art Deco looking thing made in the late '50's. Those pics put me back at Grandma's knee for a moment.

She was the Grandmother who married a man who ran Liquor on the Great Lakes between Canada and Ohio. Probably why I posted "POTATOES" in Suggestion Box laugh
