I downloaded the Sim Jiman Castle Britannia lot some time ago but only just got around to furnishing it. (I had to expand a little too) Here's my version:
King Crispin lives there with his wife, two knights (back from the crusades) and faithful steward. You'll also see servant Baldrick, the Wooshba scullery maid and visiting Cornelia Goth.
Notice how the steward guards the king from unwanted questions. Notice how the knights get drunk and put a bucket on their heads!
(Thanks, Wotty! Love that bucket!)
Thank you to all the creators!

The castle and its furnishings are beautiful. Gorgeous horse, too!

I didn't even pick up on the diagonals! Very slick!

That's why I love looking at other builders creations, gives you more than one way to do something, I wouldn't have thought of doing that Mars. notworthy

I take no credit for anything but decorating. The lot was downloaded from Sim Jiman (although I did have to expand it.) Yep, there are Atuhk build items.
I'll have to load my game and see where that wallpaper came from.
Thanks for the snaps! My sims are quite happy there. smile

drool Mars, I love your castle! The inner bailey is so cool with the archery yard. You have so many details...I can really see this as a "real" castle. I hope you offer it for download. Very well done! notworthy notworthy notworthy

The original unfurnished lot is for download at Sim Jiman:
http://simjiman.fc2web.com/
I would say an awful lot comes from Bag O Tricks Medieval and Viking themes.
The kitchen counters and jam station are by Ruthml at Bag of Tricks, the fireplace stove is from Comhair, The built ins in the pantry are from Simply Rubi but have deco hanging in front of them.
All of the really good weapon racks are from Bag of Tricks.
The one-tile fireplace is from Aponee's Egyptian theme.

I'm still digging around for the wallpaper and chest.

The empty treasure chest is by Poetica so is likely at one of her Yahoo Groups.

There are also Ludic's selectable weapon racks from Some Sim Things (brilliant too!)

Mars, I also have some wcifs...

The three paneled wood walls, one has a medallion the other is plain. Also the red & gold throne canopy.

You've inspired me to attempt more authentic looking castles. I tend to spoil my medieval sims. (yes I give them indoor plumbing too) laugh

Modern plumbing is pretty much a must if you have lots of visitors, which the king in this neighborhood does.

You can find the canopy at Comhair under Debsy's things:

That exquisite wood paneling is from Sim Snobs (pay).
