In October 2007, I created "Salem" for a contest at the Coconut Hut. I sort of forgot about it until I went to Magic Towne recently and saw the lot sitting there...forgotten... cry

I think I am going to tweak it a bit and turn it into a working (read: used) lot. So before it undergoes renovation, you can see it in all its original glory. Hope you like it.

See all the pics here:

Here's a tiny pic, to whet your appetite:

Cute village lot! Thaks for sharing!
I was working on the Southern Plantation challenge when the Hut went. I won't both to finish it as I'm not all that into antebellum things.

Those "forgotten" finds are the best.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

That looks like it was a lot of fun to build.

If this in any way involves a verandah, it might be suitable to adapt for the Decorate My House challenge over at My House.

Hey thanks for all the kind words! I am adapting it to a Magic Towne Shopping "center". It doesn't quite look like Salem anymore, but it still has that Puritan Feel, just with magic carts and fairy stuff incorporated into it. wink

I find this kind of laugh, considering what the Puritans would have thought about magic carts and fairy stuff.

My House also has a Pilgrim Village challenge, which would also would be a good fit in its original form! It really is a lovely little small-scaled village.
