He looks great, too, ess. Very lordly, and you got the fabrics just right.

Do you browse fabric in fabric stores just because you like looking at it?? I know I do!

You mean there are people who don't? laugh That' what I had planned for yesterday. A visit to the Mercado Juarez, for local coffee, strawberries, etc.. But first I was going to leave my husband reading a newspaper and drinking coffee at a sidewalk cafe while I cruised through the four fabric stores within a couple of blocks of the Mercado. Too bad a migraine messed up the plan. Maybe next week.............. biggrin

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is possible to make satin look masculine.

Well, it's not the satin that's feminine, but the choice of pattern. This blue floral might be a tad feminine, but I feel that any man who can wear a cape can pull it off. laugh

Hey, it works for the Japanese. A robe covered in chrysanthemums and he still looks intimidating. laugh

I thought that I owed this challenge a pair of skins, so I started work this morning.

I was trying to use a pattern on the dress, and kept getting an underlining to the top skirt layer that wasn't right.

Hours (and I mean about 3 hours later), I tracked the problem to a single pixel in the pattern that just happened to be a lot lighter than everything else.

I'm too tired to try to finish the skins tonight, but I am working on my contribution. wall wall wall drawingboard

I thought the least I could do was make a few, but when it isn't working, it isn't working, and no amount of time will make it so.

He looks like a king. She looks as if she's going out to dig potatoes.

It's a good thing I'm taking a week off.

I like both of them - the colours are very rich and regal looking. To me the queen's skin looks like something she'd put on to go outside in winter perhaps to inspect something or go walking for some exercise as part of the daily royal routine. There's no way she'd be digging potatoes - the cream under skirt would get very dirty.
