Yeah, um, Jared, you might want to get out more. :)

Because crazy old cat lady=neo-Pagan far as I've ever seen.

I mean it doesn't help, I suppose, that the traditional gift at Croning ceremonies is for each coven member to present the new Crone with a cat or kitten. 'Cause you can never have too many familiars!

I don't know; crazy cat lady usually makes me think crazy bag lady's first cousin, and I've yet to associate paganism with beggary.

lol

Emphasis on the crazy part, Mars. I can hardly blame anyone simply for having lots of cats; back in the 90s our family had anywhere from 3 to 12 cats in the house at any one time (depending on how many litters we were dealing with). We found homes for a lot of animals, not counting the ones we kept.

And all of this because dad rescued a stray kitten for my sister's birthday...

We have a story like this too. There was a stray cat wandering around my brother's middle school, and his friend who lived down the street grabbed it and brought it home with him on the school bus. But just before my brother got off, his friend said "OMG I can't bring this home my parents will KILL me!!" and shoved her off on my brother.

She was pregnant, of course. We learned a bit about the concept of exponential growth within the next few months; we did somehow manage to spay and neuter them all eventually but not before we ended up with thirteen of the things.

So, I guess I've already done the crazy cat lady thing. And that was even before I was a Pagan!

well, I have 6 cats and consider myself a pagan...and these 'motto samplers' are deeply appreciated. For anyone who is looking the fireplace is the Old salem fireplace and ban be found here http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/savingthesims55/files/Kitchen/ If you didn't bag the items at the grim sims site this newsgroup and STS 56 are both a chance to rectify that error. thumbsup

If there are any Discworld fans out there....my eldest male cat has definite "Greebo" tendencies wink
