laugh same here bruja! I have lots of items i just haven't done the pictures for and the skins too, well i have made lots of them to go with fakes etc and never released the skins because of being lazy about the pictures and doing a pose etc! laugh
But it is alot less amusing and can be boring! whistle

Yes, the preview pics can be a real pain. The posing libraries don't have enough variety either and I don't know how to do my own poses. (Although creating poses would take up even more time.)

Actually what I need are a couple of props - a chair, a walking stick and a cigar or cigarette. That will make the Simpose pics more realistic for what I'm trying to achieve.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! laugh
i TRYED to do my own poses but the person i sent them to to check said she wouldn't use them because they were not faced to the front! I have actually figured out how to do that know though! laugh
Although i have poses from places were they weren't even on the screen when i posed the sim! They went really far away or all of a sudden really big! surprise laugh
So i suppose mine weren't too bad! whistle
I have been meaning to go and look and have another go but , with christmas i have been so busy! whistle

I have seen pipes and cigar props about but can't think where i saw them, i would of thought it was in the link here as that is where i usually look for things like links! thumbsup
Is there any way you can take the prop from the cheapfrills smoking table? I would of thought it was a prop? I would look at simfreaks for something like a walking stick??
Hope this helps ruth! If i can't find what i'm looking for i draw it in or paste! laugh

Thanks for the suggestion Lilac Sim - I'll look at the smoking table. I have a stool prop but not a chair. oh well we can't have everything.

Often how you've got Simpose set up will affect the size of the sim in the pose. You know how to zoom in and zoom out right? (Hold down shift key and left mouse click and drag either left or right). Perhaps the setting you have is different to the setting the person who made the pose has their Simpose - so when you load the pose it's the wrong size for your Simpose screen.

ok I can't find the zip of the Persimmon Grove smoking table in my folder. Search in Vista seems overly complicated... Anyway I went to the site to download it again but it's gone! Wasn't someone else looking after the site? Where did PG go?

I am with you in the making pics process and zipping - I can't agree more, it can be so boring, and way longer than the actual making of the skin itself! jfade's psycho expecially when one makes tons and tons of skins just for fun!! rolleyes laugh
(I have SO many heads that are all ready to release, except for the preview pic editing!! I have to find time for that in the near future blush )

btw I have a few ideas for making some 1900-1910s swimwears as well - hope to find some time asap for that, too!

Thanks Friedenlinde for the link! Phew! I knew PG was safe but it's good to have the new bookmark.

P.S. Your Christmas avatar is so sweet!

thanks for the link to the cigarette pack!

In case anyone is still reading this thread I updated with male vintage skins at BoT2 (link in signature) - some character skins plus some buyables including more swimwear.
