Indeed, these skins are excellent. I took the liberty of getting a picture of them from Simpose so we can see them. Thank you for making these!

Many thanks. I'm happy you are pleased with the skins. And wonder of wonders, miracles of miracles, the third set is completed AHEAD of expectation! (If you don't count that it was supposed to have been completed this time LAST year. *sly wink*)

So, to complete the set of The Twelve Knights of Christmas, I give you the third and final download.

ruthml, thank you for posting that great pic of the skins. That was much appreciated. Would you be so kind as to do it again, please? blush The disk with Sim Creator has gone missing whistle , which is why I didn't post a pic with the other download. THANK YOU!

Here are the other knights that Herr Burgermeister has made.

I love the motifs you use - they look perfectly period!

Thank you for making and sharing these.

You and everyone else are quite welcome, ruthml. And for the curious, those are authentic devices.

http://www.heraldicclipart.com/catalog/index1.html

Should anyone wander over to Heraldic Clip Art and see a device, or combination of devices, and would like it transformed to a surcoat for that particular knight or king, I would be happy to make that happen for you.

Thank you, these are great, too! I love all the different knights, it's going to be hard to chose when I start to populate that part of my medieval hood (I"m still working on the farmers and the craftsmen...)

Thanks to a recent nudge from Bruja I popped back into this thread and wandered through from beginning to end. I'd managed to miss the last four entries altogether somehow dry

So late comments but

Holy CRAP people!!

Mhari, that's just lovely and you, woman, are a total crack up!!
Karin, your entry is great. You are such a fusser! laugh
Herr B., - you just plain rock. Those are gorgeous. (Ruth is that Sir Santa?)

Thank you all for these guys.

I've never actually more than glanced through this thread until I noticed Raeven's post, and I have to say looking through was a delight. The herald in me particularly loves your knights, Herr B. I'm rather impressed by anyone who's going to use a water bouget on a surcoat. wink

If I ever get around to skinning I'm going to have to try this myself. My panther's just dying for a surcoat (and then there are the Hospitaller sopravests, and Joan of Arc's arms, which Marina used on some of her medieval banners, and... I need to stop.)

Lovely work, all of you.

That was the herald in me at work. Ahhh... the influences of Chaucer, White, Mallory, and the SCA are finally splayed naked before an unwary public.

And you're quite welcome.

Oh, also, speaking of Joan... Hooty Hollars' Torture Set has Joan burning at the stake, if you're so inclined. Personally, I deleted her. The SCA's influence has been rather thorough - the Middle Ages as it was supposed to be (chivilrous, romantic, peaceful, elc) The other stuff is reserved for the vampyres.

Completely off-topic: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote some good medieval works. (They were actually his first love; one of the reasons he killed of Sherlock is because it didn't leave him with enough time to work on them.) I'd suggest looking up The White Company if you're interested.
