Okay here's a couple Viking men's skins. I have more in the works but I thought I'd get these up so you could play with them sooner. The mesh itself is one of MJ's from the Simarillion, B1K0mafit; you'll have to go get it here: http://www.simarillion.com/FoodService.htm

It's the maître d' mesh (which comes in the same zip as the minstrel). The horizontal is a little screwy around the belt area, but after looking at it for a bit I didn't see any way of fixing it, and I resigned myself to living with it.

(And yes, that's apparently Elden Hicks with some highlights as model.)

ETA: I've added a couple more skins for pale, plus some pale heads to match, so keep scrolling down.

ETAA: And more. Keep scrolling.

ETAyetA: More still.

Nicely done! What mesh are they using, by the way?

EDIT: Never mind -- As Thalia pointed out, the answer is right in front of me.

And here are the heads to go with the pale skins. They take another of MJ's meshes from the Simarillion; these use her Manwë head mesh C6K0ma: http://www.simarillion.com/Manwe.htm You'll want the one without regalia.

The redhead has freckles, and they came out a lot less Jesus-y than I'd feared.

Okay then, here's another. Can you tell I've been on a tablet-weaving and natural dyeing kick lately?

And the head bmp zip, which uses a different mesh of MJ's; it's the Tulkas one with a long forked beard, C3K6ma without the circlet, found here: http://www.simarillion.com/Tulkas.htm

These are waaaay too much fun.

Thanks everyone! Like I said, I'm having way too much fun with these. Here are a few more, one more for pale and two for light, to make four of each:
